It’s that time of year again and the Turkey Rod Run is almost here
40th Anniversary
Daytona Turkey Run
A Family event held in the infield of the Daytona International Speedway, Thanksgiving weekend
Thursday – Sunday, Nov 28-30, Dec 1st 8am – 4pm
We are thinking about either driving up there in our “other” cars to just walk the event or maybe setup a base camp and bring our show cars. With that said most can not do the full 3 days and we where thinking of just going up (with our without our Challengers) on Friday Nov 29th.
General Admission is $15 per day Children under 11 are free
There is club parking available but you need to police your area and make sure no one else parks in your space. Not sure if this is something we want to do as I know most can only be there on a certain days.
Right now, we’re trying to see where the interest is, this is a huge event and it’s hard to walk the show and show your car thus we are thinking of the drive up and walk around.
Please respond in the comment fields on what you would like to do. For more information about the event, click the link above
I’m more interested in going up on Friday to walk to the event only.
I agree – there’s so much available to see in one day that it doesn’t leave much time to hang out with our cars…I’d rather park on the outside and walk through the show on Friday.
I will be there on Friday and Saturday Friday bringing the Challenger into the show sat. might just drive the ram and park outside and walk the swap area
I’m interested in walking the infield, but cant do Friday.that silly thing called work 🙁
who else will be there?
Working Friday…
